Lahiri Mahasaya (1828 -1895) – is a Hindu saint, Kriya yogi and disciple of Babaji Maharaj. After Babaji appeared before him and taught him certain Kriya yoga techniques, Lahiri Mahasaya gained the ability of healing and even raising the dead. His name became well-known all over the world after the publishing of Paramahansa Yogananda‘s book Autobiography of a Yogi (1946).
