Kriya Yoga

Kriya Yoga — is a type of yoga based on special pranayama and chakras opening techniques to develop mind and consciousness. It is believed that the founder of Kriya yoga is Babaji Maharaj, who transferred his knowledge to the saint Lahiri Mahasaya in XIX century. Later, in XX century Kriya yoga became well-known on the West due to Paramhansa Yogananda‘s book Autobiography of a Yogi (1946).
