Cremation (Latin for “to burn”) — is a ritual of burning dead bodies. In Hinduism it is believed that due to cremation a soul can release itself from its body and reborn once again. Scattering of ashes over the holy waters of the Ganges or any other river will help making further reincarnation more successful.
