Vishnu – is one of the three Supreme Gods of Hindu trinity, Trimurti (along with Brahma and Shiva). Vishnu is the Preserver. There is a description of the ten main Vishnu avatars in the Puranas. Nine of them had already been on the Earth and the tenth, the last one, Kalki avatar, is going to appear at the end of Kali Yuga. Vishnu’s consort is the Goddess of wealth and happiness, Lakshmi. The tradition of Vishnu worshiping is called Vaishnavism.
